We have always considered the special needs of pharmacy
providers. Our customer's unique requests contribute to continual
enhancement of FrameworkLTC®.
Below are the FrameworkLTC software release notes and a
brief description of the changes, fixes and enhancements,
along with a listing of the new label and/or medical record
formats included in each release. These descriptions are
meant to assist you in determining which sections of the
software have changed.
NOTE: Software updates include
enhancements and changes to existing functionality. Care
should be taken to evaluate the impact of these changes
prior to deploying the update. Version 3.0.044
NOTE: All updates are cumulative. Applying the most
recent update will include all previous enhancements and bug
fixes.
- Rx Entry
- The invoice group will now be updated as the MOP
changes in Rx Entry. If the MOP does not have a default
invoice group, then the Patient Default Invoice Group
will be used. Previously once the first MOP was chosen,
the invoice group was assigned and never updated as the
MOP did.
- FrameworkLTC®
will now send a <RoChange> message to Medicine on Time
when cutting a reorder record via the Recall Rx
function.
- When adding a new physician via the Rx Entry screen,
their status will be automatically set to Active.
- FrameworkLTC®
now gives you the ability to identify a prescription as
an extra dose.
- Reorders/Refills
- FrameworkLTC®
will now preserve the value of the 'Send Basic Info to
MOT' checkbox when processing a reorder or refill.
- Billing Export
- FrameworkLTC®
allows the user to export billing into the MAS format.
- Calculate Drug Quote
- FrameworkLTC®
will now allow the user to quote multiple items, adding
each to a quote that can be printed.
- Workflow
- FrameworkLTC® will now send an <AddDrug>
message to Medicine on Time when adding a NDC to the
pharmacy formulary.

date/time that the label was printed along with the user

lists within the application.

- The functionality to create per diem billing has
been removed from the 'Create Billing' screen and
made into a new function on the 'Prescriptions'
menu.
- Create Unit Dose Composite Billing
- FrameworkLTC® now gives you the
ability to not split controlled substances and not split
for inactive patients.
- FrameworkLTC® now gives you the
ability to re-apply the method of payment selection
rules to unit dose prescriptions prior to these
prescriptions being composited. You can also choose to
split these prescriptions if a change in the primary
method of payment occurred.
- Export Batch
- FrameworkLTC® will attempt to
translate person centric times into a valid time of
day when using the AutoMed, Talyst and Chudy Group
formats.

- FrameworkLTC® now gives you the
ability to include a patient consent.

- When processing by dispensing calendar, FrameworkLTC®
will look at all active prescriptions where the start
date on the reorder record plus the days supply is less
than or equal to your processing end date.
- Print Packing Slips
- FrameworkLTC® now gives you the
ability to export the information to a file that can be
used with the All Med Express interface.
- Export Batch(es)
- FrameworkLTC® has added an additional
field to the end of the MTS record. This field contains
the patient's last name, first name and middle initial.
- Credit Rx
- FrameworkLTC® will now display a
message if the prescription you are attempting to credit
was split during the unit dose composite billing
function. The message will include the Rx# for the
remaining balance.
- Export Billing
- FrameworkLTC® now gives you the
ability to export billing information in the Net-Rx
RecRx Claim File Format.
- License Checking
- Under certain circumstances, blocking was occurring
when checking the license. This behavior has been
corrected.
- Clinical Warnings
- The clinical warnings screen is now sizable.
- Drugs interactions will now be displayed first.
Pre-cautions were moved to second.
- The color of drug interactions will be based on the
severity.
- When using Fast DDI, major interactions will be
displayed first, moderate interactions second and then
minor interactions.
- System Options
- New system option, 'Only reset workflow steps when
significant fields change'. If this option is turned on,
the workflow steps will only be reset when the patient,
doctor, drug, SIG, quantity per dose, admin type, times
per day or ingredients (on user defined IVs) change.

- When multiple users were editing the same record at
the same time, an error #-2147217864, 'Row cannot be
located for updating. Some values may have been changed
since it was last read' would occur when saving the
record. FrameworkLTC® will now attempt to
merge the two records together.
- System Options
- New option, 'Tie original date to date written
instead of dispense date on new Rxs'. If set to yes, the
original date will be updated to match the date written
when editing the date written on new prescriptions in Rx
Entry.

- Under certain circumstances the price code was
getting cleared when entering IVs. This behavior has

temporary file when creating the PacMed Server +
export file. Once the export is complete, the
temporary file will be renamed to the file name
provided by the user.
- Additional fields have been added to the MTS
export file for times per day and label warnings.
- Patient Profile
- FrameworkLTC® will now make an
entry in the audit log when the 'Change Patient ID'
button is used.
- Batch Status Monitor
- Billing only transactions were not being
included in the ‘Not Reviewed’ count. This behavior
has been corrected.
- System Options - New System Option
- 'Do not combine credits and charges for third
party payors'. If this system if turned on, separate
credit notes and invoices will be created in ACCPAC.

- An error, "object variable or with block
variable not set", would occur when changing
facilities while the Rx Entry, Patients, and
Reorders screens were open. This behavior has been
corrected.
- An error, "Incorrect syntax near 'S'.", would
occur when saving an order whose zone contained a
single quote. This behavior has been corrected.
- FrameworkLTC® now displays
additional packing slip information regarding the
driver and receipt on the Workflow tab.
- An error, "invalid property array index" would
occur when closing the patient profile screen and Rx
Entry was open with an inactive patient selected.
This behavior has been corrected.
- When the 'Refill Too Soon' message appears and
the user selects 'No' to continue filling the order, FrameworkLTC®
will now prompt you to create a reminder. These
orders will be printed on the new Refill Reminder
report.
- FrameworkLTC® will evaluate the
'Default to One Label' setting on the package type
setup screen.
- When recalling an order, FrameworkLTC®
will now display the comment from the original
order.
- Reorder Rx
- FrameworkLTC® will now display a
warning message if the order has been cut.

- When the 'Refill Too Soon' message appears and the

- The package type was not getting re-evaluated when

refills/reorders' system option was turned on. This
